Hydro needling, answered
Hydro needling is a skin-renewal treatment that pairs ultra-fine, shallow microneedles with the simultaneous infusion of hydrating serums such as hyaluronic acid and peptides. The micro-channels help the skin drink in those ingredients, leaving a smooth, luminous, deeply hydrated finish often described as glass skin.
Yes — “broken glass facial” is a popular nickname for hydro needling, named for the glass-like, lit-from-within glow the treatment leaves behind. No actual glass is involved.
Traditional microneedling uses deeper needle passes to trigger collagen remodeling, which can mean redness and a few days of downtime. Hydro needling stays shallower and focuses on delivering hydrating ingredients into the skin, so it is gentler, more comfortable, and most clients return to normal activities the same day.
